Attack of Opportunity DnD 5e: Can You Make an Opportunity Attack if You Already Used Your Reaction?

A warrior uses his DnD 5e Attack of Opportunity in a duel.

DnD 5e Attack of Opportunity Answers: Can You Make an Opportunity Attack If You Already Used Your Reaction?

No, you cannot make an opportunity attack in DnD 5e (Or One DnD) if you have already used your Reaction. Opportunity attacks are triggered by an enemy leaving your reach, which means that you need to be able to see the enemy moving away from you and have a Reaction available in order to make the attack. If you have already used your Reaction on something else, such as casting a spell with a casting time of Reaction, you will not be able to make a DnD Attack of Opportunity.
