Ghosts of Christmas Past Overview
Amidst the snow-clad valley of Abendor, the Abendroth estate, once a symbol of Christmas joy, has succumbed to a mysterious curse. For the past two years, a ghost has arrived to haunt the estate, plunging the entire town into darkness and even causing Santa to pass the village by.
This year, Gottfried, the lord of Abendroth, is determined to break the cycle and vanquish his father’s ghost. He plans a holiday gathering at the estate and hires the players to banish the spirit before midnight strikes, and Santa passes them by once again.
As the players step into the grand mansion, they find themselves surrounded by a cast of diverse and intriguing characters, each concealing secrets and motives tied to the ghostly apparition. The clock is ticking, and the players must navigate through the web of mysteries that enshroud the estate before another Christmas is overshadowed by despair.
Setting: The village of Abendor, a snow-covered hamlet with the Abendroth Estate at its heart.
Challenge: Investigate the mysteries surrounding Kaspar's death and banish his ghost before midnight.
